Wifi and connecting DMK 11a

Hello, I'm looking for a VHF with AIS transponder and receiver. So far the Simrad Rs40 AIS is the only unit I can find that combines all of these features.
I would like to connect that to the DMK 11A to connect an IPAD and I phone and overlay AIS info on a navigation program.
What are your thoughts please.
