I would like to use a remote desktop form my iPad to my pc while I am hocke up to my dmk box. I want to be able to use the remote desktop to control and view expedition on my iPad. Is there anyway to do this?

The DMK box only supports sending a data stream and will not support sending images like what you would need with a remote desktop. There are ways to do it but I am not well versed on how and the hardware needed, so I will leave that alone.

That said, depending on what you are hoping to do there are great ways to export the data from Expedition to run on native apps on deck. Ventus and NKE apps will use the data from Expedition and run it through there own hardware. To best set up this type of network I would add a Wifi hotspot to a DMK Box and put the DMK Box in Infrastructure mode to associate with the hotspot. The box will send data to Expedition through the hotspot and Expedition will send out it's performance numbers back through the hotspot so any device connected will get numbers from the instruments as well as performance numbers generated from the software.

I have been running this sort of system for 8 months now and it works great with fast update times.
