Yes it does. I am responsible for finding these bugs and I did
not find it while I was testing the new version of our app this
summer. I have tested an updated version of the app and it does not
crash like the iTunes version currently does. I expect an update of
our app to be released on iTunes by 10/8/2013.
However the fact that it crashes proves the box is working and
that you are receiving data. Because of that I believe you have an
"App Fighting" issue. Hopefully it will be corrected through a hard
reset. (Touching the Seatalk to the ground wires and power cycle
the box) or quitting other apps in the background.
