I am planning the installation of a AMI14 device for a diesel generator and other general monitoring, I have a few questions:
1, Can this device support DC battery current derived from a current transformer which outputs + or - 0-5 volts? This is necessary to see both charge and discharge.
2, Can I monitor voltage and amperage (as stated above) on two separate battery banks with common ground?
3. Alternator has a built in regulator, no "w" term, I do not need RPM however I need an engine hour meter. Can you support this requirement from another input such as oil pressure?
4. Do any of your devices support quadrature counting? I have an anchor counter that needs to count both up and down.
Thank you in advance, Cyril
